Sascha joined Scienlab electronic systems as a project manager in 2015. During his 9 years with Scienlab and later on Keysight, Sascha served as a product manager for several battery test systems and as a project manager he was in charge of the planning and project execution of industrial and academic battery test laboratories all over Europe. Since 2022, Sascha is responsible for the portfolio planning of Keysight’s battery testing solutions with a focus on battery modules and packs.

When designing and validating new batteries, testing can be time consuming, energy intensive, hazardous, and require expensive DUT and capital test assets. Using simulation and modeling, a digital twin of both the DUT and the test system provides virtual testing to shorten the time and expense of design verification. This presentation describes a software framework to achieve lower costs and faster design cycles with reduced real testing when taking new designs to completion.
