Pål Runde, CEO of Battery Norway, holds a master’s degree in physics from University of Trondheim, Norway.
For most of his 30-year professional career he has worked within the field of materials science for international corporations like Saint-Gobain, Elkem and Alcoa. His focus has been on research and development of new processes and products, as well as looking for new applications of advanced inorganic materials. Two years ago, Mr. Runde joined Battery Norway where he is working to promote industrial collaboration within the Norwegian battery value chain and to connect the Norwegian battery industry to industrial actor sabroad.
