Having an infantry officer background and several management roles in the recycling Industry for many years, has provided me with great insight and impact in the reverse side of our consumption-based society. I am thrilled by the complexity and diversity of the tasks delegated to the relatively small recycling industry compared to the vast resources we spend on producing products. I find great inspiration in developing sustainable value-chains retrieving much needed materials at lower footprints through an industrial mindset. Currently I am responsible for Stena Recycling Group´s battery recycling effort with activities established in seven European countries.
