Grant Cairnie is currently responsible for AVL’s Engineering and Commercial activities on the West Coast of Sweden as General Manager. He has held this role since September 2023 and leads a multi-disciplinary team bringing expertise and solutions across electrification, internal combustion engine, transmission, software, ADAS and vehicle integration to AVL’s partners in Sweden.
Grant was previously General Manager Engineering for AVL Korea and prior to that Sales and Marketing Director for AVL PTE UK. He has been heavily involved in promoting AVL’s competence in Battery Design, Development and Testing as well as ensuring the quality delivery of several client projects. Grant also had the opportunity to support the development and introduction of AVL’s Battery Innovation Center in Graz, Austria.”
